Kathleen's Diary: June 2, 2002

BMT + 60

Dan’s update yesterday is hard to top, so I won’t even try.  Robert is doing great; he’s been thrilled because his twin, Matthew, has visited him the last two days.  Matthew thinks it’s great because he gets to play with all Robert’s toys, and we think it’s great because Robert gets up and plays with Matthew (and stops watching TV for a little while).

Since I’m more of an analytical type, I will forward Robert’s numbers.  All of Robert’s numbers are better today.  He did get platelets yesterday, so his platelets are up today.  His GGT was up yesterday, but it went down today.  Dr. Horn is very happy with his progress, and thinks he may come home in two weeks!!  Robert has kept eating pretty well, so we just need to get him off IV food and medications, and he’ll be able to come home.

Thank you,

Mark
