The 2012 International Conference for Glycoprotein Storage Diseases and the extension of the Natural History Study will take place in Charleston South Carolina July 27th - July 30th 2012.
Prologue
Robert, our youngest son, was diagnosed with Alpha Mannosidosis in February 2001 at the age of four. This was a long time in coming. I want to cover some history that may be useful to other parents. Robert is now recovering from a bone marrow transplant that was performed July 19, 2001, and that background may be valuable, as well. Please see my personal diary of transplants 1 and 2 to participate in our journey.
