Jenny Klein, USA

Jenny Klein is an adult patient with Mucolipidosis Type lll (Pseudo-Hurler Polydystrophy). She joins the advisory board with 15 years of patient advocacy experience and a Master’s degree in Physiology from North Carolina State University.

Jenny is a trained scientist with experience in small molecule drug development for several lysosomal storage disorders and rare epilepsies.

Jenny has multiple publications including a Nature Materials publication “Exploiting Machine Learning for End-to-End Drug Discovery and Development”, and an ACS Omega publication “Using Bibliometric Analysis and Machine Learning to Identify Compounds Binding to Sialidase-1.”

Jenny is a founding member of the Mucolipidosis Collaborative Research Network and active volunteer with the National MPS Society. She is currently employed with AavantiBio acting as their Preclinical Program Manager.
